And so…

this is Christmas

Merry and Happy Christmas! 🙂

I leave you with my three favorite Christmas songs.  I channel surf through the radio hoping they will play this song.

I don’t know why this song is so catchy.  But, I love it!  This Christmas, I give her my heart.  She’s down in the dumps because she’s nursing a broken foot and alone during the holidays.  One day babe. 🙂

Also, the iconic Nat King Cole sang a song he originally did not want to record.  Mel Torme wrote one of the best Christmas songs of all time.

It was recorded the year I was born, December of 1961

And lastly, a bonus song that you never hear on the radio.  When I was a kid my mother belonged to a record club and would get an album a month.  This was a Christmas compilation album that I don’t recall the name, but this song was on it.  I would play it over and over because there was just something about the musical arrangement, the mesmerizing vocals of Nancy Wilson, and the feelings it evoked during the holidays.  I share this especially for Grace.  I love you and get better hon. ❤ ❤ ❤

Also, the best Christmas present you can give me is buying my small book of poetry, One Small Glimpse.  It’s on sale at Amazon.

Merry and Happy Christmas and Holidays Everyone, and to all a good night on the other side of the world! 😉
