The Love Game Poem

Here’s a poem from my Intermission Poetry collection:

Love Game

Love is a game

Let me pull you by the string

Tied to your heart

Then unravel everything

Tell you one day

Then tell you another

Every day is the same

Let’s play you’re my lover

No, not this time

I’d rather not bother

Confusion is our language

Commitment is a barrier

Continuing on a different course

The turns are getting scarier

Let’s not play today

I’m tired and worn from word playMV5BMTk2NDE1NTAzMV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwODA2MDcxMjI@._V1_SY1000_CR0,0,1497,1000_AL_

Why can’t it just be easy?

Are we just emotionally lazy?

You say all the right things

And then all the rights become wrong things

I just wanted to love you

Is that too much to ask?

Please let me now if you like this one.  Have a good day Blue with good searching! 🙂
